HP CP4025 Printer Review

The HP CP4025 is a color laser workgroup printer well suited for a medium sized office that needs a printer that can print at fast speeds while still printing with high quality text and images, and still remaining compact. The HP CP4025 boasts a monthly duty cycle of as much as 100,000 pages, with a recommended monthly print volume of between 2000 to 7500 pages. Despite its ability to handle a large workload, the HP CP4025 measures only 21.3 inches wide, 20.6 inches deep and 16.5 inches high.

For connectivity and networking, the HP CP4025 utilizes a high speed USB cable that can be purchased separately from an office supply or computer supply retailer. The HP CP4025 also utilizes a global Ethernet connection for connecting to a network or workgroup. This printer is compatible with many major operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.3 and higher, and several Linux and Unix based systems, making it versatile enough to work in almost any office.

The HP CP4025 ships with four HP toner cartridges. These cartridges come in yellow, cyan, magenta and black and are capable of printing a high page volume while still providing excellent color and quality. The HP LaserJet black toner cartridge that ships with the HP CP4025 is capable of printing as much as 8500 pages before needing to be replaced. The yellow, magenta, and cyan cartridges utilize HP colorsphere technology, and are each capable of printing as much as 11,000 pages. The high page yield of the HP toner cartridges is paired with the high page capacity of this printer, making it easy to spend more time working and less time refilling the paper and toner. The HP CP4025 has a standard page capacity of 600 sheets, with the option to add another 500 sheets tray and increase the page capacity of this printer. This printer prints at a rate of 35 pages per minute for black and white and color, with a first page out time of only 9.5 seconds for each.

The HP CP4025 is powered by an 800 MHz processor, with a resolution of 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi. The standard memory that ships with the HP CP4025 is 512 MB, with the option to upgrade to as much as 1 GB. Automatic duplex printing comes standard on the HP CP4025.

HP LaserJet 1010 Review

The HP LaserJet 1010 is a monochrome laser jet printer intended for a small office, business, or home office that needs a fast but compact printer. The HP LaserJet 1010 has a monthly duty cycle of up to 5,000 pages, making it capable of handling the workload of a small office or business while still being compact and economical. The HP LaserJet 1010 is perfectly suited to serve as a home office or personal laser printer. Measuring only 14.6 inches wide, 9.1 inches deep, and 8.2 inches tall, the HP LaserJet 1010 is compact enough to fit into any office or serve as a desktop printer. For users who need a higher page yield from their toner cartridges, Oki offers high yield Okidata toner cartridges that have a yield of 5000 pages. Konica Minolta Magicolor Printer Reviews

The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2300 DL and the Magicolor 2400 are both very powerful printers that have both been longtime contributors towards Konica Minolta’s impressive lineup of printing solutions. Both printers are compact and value-packed color laser printers with monthly duty cycles of 35,000 pages per month, which makes them ideal for both home and office users. However, the printers have differing features that may make one a better fit for your operation than the other. The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400 is one of the least expensive color laser printers available. The printer can be easily put into small office or work places. Home users can also take advantage of its compact size.

The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2300 DL comes equipped with an Ethernet port, parallel and USB connections. The printer is compatible with Windows XP, 2000, 98, and 95 operating systems. The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400 installation is typical for a USB 2.0 printer and has optical Ethernet. The physical set up of the Magicolor 2400 is very easy and requires nothing other than unpacking the printer.

The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2300 DL comes equipped with four toner cartridges and a waste toner disposal bin, along with a multipurpose paper tray. The text produced is clear and crisp with most fonts easily readable at 4 points. None of the prints of the Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400 require larger than 8 points. The printer has good graphics quality as well. Both printers have an effective combination of speed, resolution and excellent text quality that makes for a sound investment.

The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2300 DL comes equipped with 32 MB of installed memory, which is expandable to 288 MB. It comes with the option of an automatic duplexer, which is efficient for double-sided printing. The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400 also comes equipped with 32 MB of installed memory; however, this printer’s memory capacity cannot be expanded.
