HP CP4025 Printer Review
The HP CP4025 is a color laser workgroup printer well suited for a medium sized office that needs a printer that can print at fast speeds while still printing with high quality text and images, and still remaining compact. The HP CP4025 boasts a monthly duty cycle of as much as 100,000 pages, with a recommended monthly print volume of between 2000 to 7500 pages. Despite its ability to handle a large workload, the HP CP4025 measures only 21.3 inches wide, 20.6 inches deep and 16.5 inches high.
For connectivity and networking, the HP CP4025 utilizes a high speed USB cable that can be purchased separately from an office supply or computer supply retailer. The HP CP4025 also utilizes a global Ethernet connection for connecting to a network or workgroup. This printer is compatible with many major operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.3 and higher, and several Linux and Unix based systems, making it versatile enough to work in almost any office.

The HP CP4025 ships with four HP toner cartridges. These cartridges come in yellow, cyan, magenta and black and are capable of printing a high page volume while still providing excellent color and quality. This printer prints at a rate of 35 pages per minute for black and white and color, with a first page out time of only 9.5 seconds for each.
The HP CP4025 is powered by an 800 MHz processor, with a resolution of 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi. The standard memory that ships with the HP CP4025 is 512 MB, with the option to upgrade to as much as 1 GB. Automatic duplex printing comes standard on the HP CP4025.

The text produced is clear and crisp with most fonts easily readable at 4 points. None of the prints of the Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400 require larger than 8 points. The printer has good graphics quality as well. Both printers have an effective combination of speed, resolution and excellent text quality that makes for a sound investment.
