Dell 5110cn Printer Review

The Dell 5110cn is a workgroup laser printer well suited for a large office. The Dell 5110cn boats a monthly duty cycle of as much as 95,000 pages, and measures only 16.9 inches wide, 22.8 inches deep, and 19.6 inches high, making it an ideal choice for an office that may not have a lot of space to spare.

For connecting to a workgroup, the Dell 5110cn needs only a wired Ethernet connection and a high speed USB cable that can be purchased from most computer supply retailers. The Dell 5110cn is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Mac OS X, Unix and Linux based systems.

For printing in black and white and color, the Dell 5110cn uses one black Dell toner cartridge and one color Dell toner cartridges that contains yellow, cyan, and magenta. These Dell 5110cn toner cartridges can produce a high page yield. The color Dell toner cartridge can print as much as 8000 pages, while the black Dell 5110cn toner cartridges can print 10,000 pages. The Dell 5110cn can support a page yield of 2150 pages, and can print with a resolution of 600 dpi by 600 dpi. The Dell 5110cn can print a speed of 35 pages per minute for color, and 40 pages per minute for black and white.

The Dell 5110cn is powered by a 400 MHz processor, and comes with 128 MB of memory installed. This memory can be upgraded to as much as 1.125 GB. This printer is energy star qualified.
