The Brother 9970 is a multifunction color printer designed for a medium sized office that needs a compact and capable printer. The Brother 9970 boasts a monthly duty cycle of as much as 60,000 pages, with a recommended monthly print volume of up to 4000 pages. This printer measures only 19.3 inches wide, 20.7 inches deep, and 20.9 high and weighs only 62.8 pounds.

For connectivity, the Brother 9970 uses a high speed USB cable, and a wired Ethernet connection. The Brother 9970 is compatible with many major operating systems, including Windows 2008, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.4 and higher.

The Brother 9970 is capable of printing and copying in black and white and full color through the use of four Brother toner cartridges. These Brother 9970 toner cartridges come in black, magenta, yellow, cyan and are each capable of printing a high number of pages at high quality. The HP 3800 is a color laser printer intended for medium sized offices that need a fast, reliable printer that won’t take up a lot of space.
