Xerox released a brand new series of printers on September 24 of this year, and included among them was the Phaser 8860. The printer is solid ink-based, the proprietary Xerox technology that replaces traditional toner cartridges with solid ink sticks. Xerox claims that solid ink printers generate one tenth of the waste of comparable color laser printers, and is more environmentally ethical.
