There are several options when considering the HP LaserJet P3005 series. Each of the P3005 models have the same core functionality and processes. They have print speeds capable of up to 35 pages per minute, and hold a minimum of 48 MB or RAM. The HP LaserJet P3005 printers also include a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, open EIO slot IEEE 1284-B compliant parallel port, 400 MHz processor, 100-sheet multipurpose tray and 500-sheet input try. Now each upgrade has it's own offering. The most basic model is the HP P3005 also known as the HP Q7812A.

The first upgrade is the HP LaserJet P3005d (Q7813A).
