The Ricoh Aficio CL2000 is a desktop color laser printer that combines speed and quality. The Ricoh CL2000N is equipped to meet the various needs of small- to medium-size offices, for both internal and external use. Equipped with SmartDeviceMonitor and Web Image Monitor technology, the Aficio CL2000N makes networking a breeze. After entering the printer’s location online, employees throughout the office will be able to get detailed status updates regarding the printer, as well as the status of specific print jobs from anywhere in the office. Users can also redirect and resend print jobs from their computers. The printer also features a special administration device monitor that will let your IT professional remotely perform maintenance checks.

In addition to its networking capabilities, the Ricoh CL2000 is super fast for monochrome prints. The printer produces clear monochrome text and images at a speedy 31 pages per minute. Color documents print much slower at 8 pages per minute. The printer warm-up time is also a little slow at 30 seconds. Whether printing in color or in black-and-white, the CL2000N enables you to produce quality custom documents for internal use, such as emails and memos, as well as for external office use for important documents, such as reports and newsletters. The CL2000N prints both monochrome and color documents with 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi resolution. The printer supports a wide range of media types, including plain paper, labels, thick covers, envelopes, glossy paper and card stock. Paper trays also adjust to accommodate standard and special media sizes including 8.5 in x 11 in., 8.5 in. x 14 in., 7.25 in. x 10.5 in., B5, A4, 3.6 in. x 5.8, 8.5 in. x 14 in. and #10 and Monarch envelope sizes.

The Ricoh Aficio CL2000 also features a variety of expandable options that will help it grow with your business as you expand. The printer comes standard with 128 MB of installed memory. If your needs ever change, you have the option of expanding the memory capacity to up to 384 MB. An optional automatic duplexer can also be added to the printer so you can quickly produce professional-quality double-sided documents without manually feeding paper, or going to a print shop. The duplexer also offers the same print speeds as the printer does without it. The CL2000’s media capacity is also expandable. The printer comes standard with 530-sheet media capacity. If your printing demand increases, additional paper trays can be added to the printer to increase its media capacity up to 1690 sheets.
