The Xerox ColorQube 8870 printer enables offices of any size to produce high-resolution, professional-quality prints on a wide array of materials and paper types. The ColorQube 8870 is capable of producing vivid prints on plain paper, glossy paper, card stock, recycled paper, envelopes, business cards and labels, ranging from 3 in. x 5 in. all the way to 8.5 in. x 14 in; although it may not be necessary to purchase expensive paper when using the ColorQube 8870 due to the printer’s exceptional FinePoint print quality, which produces, rich, vivid images on any type of paper.
Double-sided printing is a standard feature as is the capability of printing up to 40 pages per minute for both color and monochrome prints. Combine that with its rapid-five-second first-page-out time, the Xerox ColorQube 8870DN is one of the fastest solid ink printers on the market. The printer’s standard paper capacity of 625 sheets will enable you to produce large-quantity print jobs without taking extra time for repeated reloading. Additionally, the Xerox Color Qube 8870 is designed to grow with your production needs. While the printer comes standard with two trays—one capable of holding 100 sheets ranging from 3 in. x 5 in to 8.5 in x 14 in, and one capable of holding 525 sheets ranging from 3.9 in x 8.3 in to 8.5 in x 14 in—you have the option of expanding to up to three additional trays; all of which are capable of holding 525 sheets of various sizes.
The ColorQube 8870 series also provides environmentally friendly options that will help your office increase efficiency, reduce waste and lower costs. The ColorQube 8870DN has a 30 percent lower lifecycle energy demand and produces 90 percent less waste than comparable laser printers, due to the use of substantially less packaging and the efficient, solid ink technology. ColorQube 8870 ink sticks also enable the printer to produce high quality and vibrant prints on a wide variety of paper types. The EarthSmart print driver setting is a new feature, which enables you to select the most environmentally sound print settings for specific print jobs. Smart settings also let you put the printer on a timer, so you can make sure the printer is up and running during times of heavy use, and asleep during slower production periods, so you can save energy and reduce costs. Bundled GreenPrint software also comes standard on the ColorQube 8870DN, which lets you print only the pages you want to help you reduce ink and paper usage.
