For a medium sized office or business that needs a fast and capable solid ink color printer that can produce images and text with bright, vivid color, the Phaser 8560 is an ideal choice. Measuring only 16 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 14.5 inches tall and with a monthly duty cycle of up to 85,000 pages, the Phaser 8560 is perfect for small offices that don’t have a lot of space, but don’t want to sacrifice on quality or speed.
The Phaser 8560 prints at a speed of up to 30 pages per minute whether printing in full color or black and white. In addition to a fast page per minute speed, the Phaser 8560 also boasts a super fast first page out time of only 5 seconds for black and white as well as full color prints. With a standard page capacity of 625 sheets, this printer can easily handle even large print jobs with needing to have the paper trays refilled, and with additional paper trays available, the maximum print capacity of this printer can easily be increased to up to 1,675 sheets. The Phaser 8560 utilizes four solid ink color sticks for printing in black and white and color; one each in black, yellow, cyan, and magenta. These Phaser 8560 solid ink sticks are an environmentally friendly ink option that produce more consistent, vivid prints than traditional toner. The solid ink sticks compatible with the Phaser 8650 are each capable of printing up to 1300 pages before needing to be replaced.
This printer is capable of printing with a resolution of 2400 dpi and is powered by a 600 MHz processor. The Phaser 6850 ships with 256 MB of memory already installed, but the memory in this printer can be easily upgraded to as much as 1 GB of memory. The Phaser 6850 is compatible with many major operating systems, including Mac OS X 10.3 and up, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, and Linux. This printer utilizes a high speed USB cable and a wired Ethernet connection. The USB cable for this printer can easily be purchased from a computer office supply retailer. The Phaser 6850 measures only 16 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 14.5 inches tall, making it easy to incorporate in an office of any size.
